Manager
Purpose Responsible for the
development and performance of all sales activities in order to achieve maximum
profitability and growth in line with FMS AFRICA’s vision and values.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Establish
plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and
contribute to the development of training and education programs for
clients and customer service managers by - Managing
and maintaining existing and new customers through the appropriate
propositions and ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison to
optimise quality of service business growth and customer satisfaction - Use
customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems and update
relevant information held in these systems - Develop
a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment
of FMS AFRICA’s sales goals and profitability by - Planning
and managing clients personal portfolio business according to an agreed
market development strategy - Managing
product/service ,mix, pricing and margins according to agreed terms - Communicating
, liaising and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate
methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and
sustainable relationships - Plan
and carry out support for local marketing activities to agreed budgets and
time-scales e.g. product launches and promotions, advertising, exhibitions
and telemarketing - Responsible
for the performance and development of the customer service Managers in
liaison with the Operations Manger. - Initiate
and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets by - Monitor
and report on competitor activities and provide relevant reports and
information. - Assists
in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. - Attend
and present at external meetings and internal meetings with other company
functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. - Assists
Customer Service Managers in preparation of proposals and presentations. - Conducts
one-on-one review with all Customer Service Managers to build more
effective communications, to understand training and development needs,
and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity
performance. - Attend
trainings and develop relevant knowledge and skill - Respond
to and follow up on sales enquires using appropriate methods - Maintains
accurate records of all pricings, sales, and makes activity reports by - Recording,
analyzing and administering sales information according to the system and
requirements. - Adheres
to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures
that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Qualifications:
- University
Degree in Marketing or Business with Sales and Marketing as a Major. - Experience
in Sales Management. - Extensive
experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management. - Strong
understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements - Negotiation
