Eligibility:
Pass-it-on Award applications are open to any woman over 18 years old in or aspiring to be in the fields of computing. Awards are open to women in all countries.

What it covers: Awards are open to women in all countries and range from $500.00 to $1000.00 USD.

Scholarship Description: In this section, the applicant should describe the project for which the award is requested and also address the specific activities for which the money will be used. For example, if the award is to pay for transportation to a conference at which the applicant is presenting a paper, the application should include a description of the paper topic and conference, and indicate that the award is to pay transportation costs. Another example would be for financial assistance in starting an Internet Education Center, which may be either for-profit or non-profit. The application must describe specifically how the business will directly assist women and girls in technology

All applications must be accompanied by at least one letter of reference. The referrer should indicate their relationship to the applicant and introduce themselves professionally by stating their position, and what if any professional credentials they hold. The referrer must also be willing to answer follow up questions about both the project on the application and the applicant’s ability to successfully complete the project. A good reference is someone who knows the applicant personally and is aware of what the applicant is trying to achieve. Email referrals from a business or organizational email address will also be accepted.

NOTE: The applicant is responsible for providing the referrer with instructions for submitting the letter, and for following up with the referrer to ensure that the letter is submitted before the deadline.
