Background
UN Women is the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. Programming in the Liberia Country Office of UN Women responds to UN Women’s five key thematic areas: expanding women’s voice, leadership and participation; ending violence against women and girls; strengthening implementation of the women, peace and security agenda; enhancing women’s economic empowerment; making gender equality priorities central to all aspects of national and local development planning.

UN Women uses ATLAS for its internal programme, financial and operations management. UN Women in Liberia wishes to recruit a consultant with UN system experience of use of ATLAS to provide hands-on training for its staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the UN Women Country Representative in Liberia, the Consultant will provide both group and individualized training in ATLAS for office staff in the following use of the programme:
• Creation of Projects & Awards
• Deleting/ cancelling POs & Vouchers
• Generating Reports in ATLAS
• How to enter Initial Budget
• How to customize Budget entry view
• How to update award modification
• How to enter budget revision description
• How to print cover page and MWP
• Asset management in ATLAS
• Other topics that are useful to the trainees needs

Competencies
• Ability to work in ATLAS efficiently and effectively
• Recent knowledge of United Nations policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to train others
• Ability to work under pressure and with multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams and possess excellent inter-personal skills;
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in ATLAS usage (programming management, training and designs is an advantage) in a UN agency;
• Experience in conducting ATLAS training
• Working experience and knowledge of programming and procedures of the UN system

Required Skills and Experience

Educations:
• Advanced University Degree in business, sociology or any other social science;
• ATLAS Training experience
