Job Objective:
Responsible for managing and developing the Supplier Base and Relationships for the Category to achieve the Local Category targets of cost, quality and service, complying with MIC internal control policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of the Supplier base in his/her assigned Category: selection, maintenance, development and deletion for his/her Country.
• Achieving the commercial targets in his/her Category: cost, quality, service level and finished contracts.
• Development and execution of Category Supply Strategy to achieve best in class Supplier base: recommend and negotiate Strategic partnerships, Frame Level Agreements, competitive biddings.
• Coordinate and negotiate requirements with local internal customers, and support them with the commercial side of enforcing Contracted terms and performance.
• Act as single point of contact for the Supplier and Global/Regional MIC Procurement for any issue concerning Commercial terms, tenders and negotiations.
• Develop in depth Industry understanding within his/her assigned Category, specifically concerning local competitive forces, breakthrough business or technology advances, and cost structure.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering /Business Administration.
• 2-3 years relevant working experience.
• Should be an excellent communicator.
• Ability to understand the company objectives.
• Should have excellent computer skills.
• Should have good planning and organizational skills.
• Creative and Innovative.
• Curious to learn.
• Self confident and motivated.
• A team player with unquestionable integrity.
• Must be Rwandan.
