This position is responsible for the following:
Senior Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation
• Provide technical oversight for the development, implementation, and capacity-building of components of program M&E system, including Management of Information Systems (MIS) to meet requirements for FHI 360, USAID, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support in the use of tools for collecting and analyzing monitoring data.
• Collect data, verify and prepare project performance reports.
• Review sub-agreements for monitoring and evaluation.
• Assist in compiling quarterly, annual, and ad hoc program data and reports.
Requirement:
• BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7-9 years’ relevant experience, or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 5-7 years’ relevant experience, or PhD, MD or similar degree with 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs.
• Overseas experience required; familiarity with and understanding of northern Ugandan context.
• Proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets;
• demonstrated experience using Health Management Information Systems
