A sincere compliment is of the most effective tool to teach and motivate others. The more sincere the compliment the more effective it will. But unfortunately, there had been a worrying increase in lack of sincerity in most compliment we receive or give.
This has led to many becoming hesitant in shearing compliments for fear of mis-interpretation. Even though it would be sincere, we often shy away from sharing it because of fear of being misunderstood. Thus result in losing the potential motivating effects.
