Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, the Manager, IT Service Desk is responsible for management of the corporate IT Service Desk function. There are related duties in the areas of licence and contract management, metrics and reporting, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities
. Supervises Enterprise Bilingual Service Desk supporting 900 users
. Oversees user registration /provisioning and deregistration process
. Responsible for corporate service desk system, monitoring of calls, reporting, generation of support metrics, and user satisfaction surveys
. Interfaces directly with users to assess their needs and to assist in resolution of service desk tickets
. Interfaces with managers in other IT areas to ensure a seamless support over the complete service offering
. Coordinates procurement activities for IT Department related to new user provisioning
. Coordinates corporate software licence compliance tracking, maintenance and renewals
. Manages relevant software and hardware support contracts
. Manages budgets related to service desk and user provisioning
. Project management for small projects and initiatives
. Performs Incident Manager role related to all critical corporate incidents

Qualifications
. Post secondary degree or certification in Information Technology
. MSCE, ITIL certification an asset

Candidate profile
. Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop or application support environment
. Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager in a enterprise service desk environment
. Demonstrated knowledge of managing service desk ticketing system, incident management and tracking
. Ability to work effectively with users and IT Team to build broad consensus related to the Service Desk
. Organized, process-driven approach to problem-solving
. Strong communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
. Must be fluently bilingual (English/French, written/spoken)
. Project management skills an asset
