Telecommunication Administrator

Main tasks (primary responsibilities) of the position:
• Complete responsibility of phone and voice mail systems.
• Perform day-to-day operation and administration of PBX (e.g. Avaya Definity or Siemens Hi-Com) and voicemail (e.g. Avaya Audix or Siemens Expressions) systems.
• Consult the Call Center managers (e.g. customer care and tech support) and analyze their call center requirements.
• Run various call center reports as per requests from managers.
• Administrate calling card, cell phones and home lines programs.
• Purchase phone equipment and maintain inventory.
• Monitor the phone bills and work with the vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring telephone budget.
• Negotiate phone services and equipment lease contracts.

Position requirements, qualifications and experiences:
• A.A. or Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Eng.).
• Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience as a Telecommunications Administrator in a call center environment.
• Proven hands-on Experience with the installation, administration and management of telephone PBX (e.g. Avaya Definity or Siemens Hi-Com) and voice mail systems (e.g. Avaya Audix or Siemens Expressions).
• Knowledge of a variety of PC based tools and software.
• Experience in a formal help desk support environment, customer handling skills.
