Security Officer required to work within a busy production and distribution depot.Our client is a major spirits manufacturer and is recruiting an additional Security Officer to work within their busy gatehouse. Your duties will include the secure entry and exit of visitors / distribution contractors / site services personnel and staff. Your role will also involve the checking off delivery loads to reduce any errors or theft as well as searches of personnel. (Any customs & Excise experience would be advantageous)
There will also be some expectation on security awareness to ensure the integrity of the site.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has come from either a similar background within distribution or from a disciplined regimental background. (Ex Police / Military)
The position will initially be dayshift for training but will require you to be flexible to cover shift work eventually.
