You will be responsible for supporting the Finance Operations teams in delivering financial processing and information to the organisations Finance Partners within agreed timescales. You are responsible for ensuring that budget holders across the organisation receive adequate finance support to enable them to manage and monitor their budget effectively.
In this job you will also ensure that staff are all trained adequately and developed to a high standard in order to support the budget holders.
– You will have experience at working at a strategic senior finance level in a large organisation
– The ability to manage projects from initiation to final delivery
– You will be experienced in creating clear and concise reports that contain reasoned recommendations
– Be able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement, managing a wide range of accounting services and managing the migration of teams and processes to new structures
– Able to provide effective leadership and committed to effective communication and engagement
– You will enjoy investing time in developing your team
– Able to make the best use of resources including employees, financial and ICT resources, whilst striking a balance between cost, quality and price
– Assess competing priorities and establish a robust methodology for their resolution
