Azeez Fashola (a.k.a Naira Marley), a Nigerian musician, got his Nollywood debut in a new film called ‘ The Enemy I Know. ‘
A little over a week after he regained liberty, the embattled singer landed the role.
For more than a month, the singer has been held in prison for suspected internet fraud.
In the film made by famous actress Regina Daniels, the 30-year-old singer plays a significant part.
The latter, who recently got married Ned Nwoko, is co-producing the film alongside her mother, Rita Daniels.
The Daniels are presently shooting with some of Nollywood’s largest names on board at several selected places around Abuja.
There are unconfirmed speculations that the film project is been bankrolled by Mr Nwoko.
Naira Marley has shot a number of scenes already. The singer was found chilling on a private jet with multiple scantily dressed models in a specific scene.
Comedian Arole, Jide Kosoko, Sola Sobowale, Brother Shaggi, Ken Erics, Desmond Elliot, and Tana Adelana are some of the actors on the set.
