Sources have confirmed that media conglomerate Bertelsmann which owns the film and television company RTL Group is reportedly interested in acquiring Raw Film Productions U.K.
Bertelsmann’s consolidated revenues for the 2024 financial year were approximately €19.0 billion (or about $20.5 billion USD).
RTL Group’s revenue for the full year 2024 was stable at approximately €6.25 billion. For 2025, the company forecasts revenue to increase to about €6.45 billion, driven by higher streaming revenue. Raw Film Productions like Bertelsmann is also a privately held company with an estimated €51,935,700.00 or ($60 million USD) revenue in 2024.
