Role Description
Title: Counseling Coordinator
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Term of Contract: One year (renewable)

the Rwanda Clubfoot Program, with a particular focus on providing direction and
oversight to the counselors

Under
the authority and supervision of the coordinator will assist the program in the
following activities

- Assist
clinic and counselor monitoring - Build
and maintain network of faith leaders and communities for spiritual
nurture of patients - Assist
with logistics to clinics - Assist
in collection of patient reports from counselors and clinics - Facilitating
training, workshops and seminars for counselors - Maintaining
a data base system of patients relative to their communities - Educate
and network for patient referral, follow up, patient compliance and
awareness raising - Prepare
case stories for donors and other stakeholders - Will
be required to travel within Rwanda - Provide
counseling monthly and quarterly reports to the country coordinator - Translation
/ preparation of faith based literatures in local language

- Demonstrated
ability to motivate people and work effectively in teams and partnerships
with a diverse group of stakeholders - Passionate
about the mission and statement of faith of CURE International - Proficiency
in the English language, spoken and written - Minimum
3 years’ experience in health related services especially in the field of
disability. - University
degree ( A1) or( A0 ) is required. - To
be Rwandan citizen - Familiarity
with Rwandan Health Care systems and policies is an added advantage.
- Good
interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills (both written and
verbal) - Demonstrated
computer based skills, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email - Demonstrated
initiative and able to work semi-independently and solve problems
