The
Role

You
will work closely with the Executive team to deliver research activities that
the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre engages through ongoing opportunities,
and that support the sustainability of the Young and Well CRC and research
programs beyond 2016.

In
this fast paced role you will:

Lead
complex translational research activities, undertaking research
consultancies, conducting literature reviews, evaluations, and write
research proposals.
Manage
opportunities for research and evaluation projects and proposals, grant
applications, research contracts, and liaise with funding bodies and
external stakeholders.
Deliver
high quality research proposals and case studies for the 2016 research
agenda, providing a strong understanding of the research and development
product pipelines.
Write
ethics applications to conduct qualitative and quantitative research in
collaboration with the Young and Well CRC research team and partners.
Initiate,
write and review Young and Well CRC publications, and support the research
activities of the CEO, including preparing publications and national and
international conference papers.
Manage
administration of research activities, including desktop publishing,
databases, and prepare research materials for stakeholders.

Skills
and Experience Required

Two
to five years experience in post-doctoral research, with a doctorate
qualification in adolescent mental health, psychology, or related field.
A
strong understanding of Young and Well CRC research outputs and their
application in commercial environments
Experience
conducting research on the use of technology and applications for
wellbeing
Demonstrable
experience undertaking contract/consultancy research and research with a
commercial purpose
Extensive
experience publishing research reports, and exceptional research writing
ability
Demonstrable
skills building rapport with key stakeholders, establishing strong working
relationships to enable clear and effective communication.

Organisation

The
Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre (Young and Well CRC) unites young
people with researchers, practitioners and innovators from over 70
organisations from across the not-for-profit, academic, government and
corporate sectors. The focus of this CRC is for organisations to work together
to conduct research which helps us better understand how technologies can be
used to ensure that all young Australians are safe, healthy and resilient.
