Government’s new Employment Services from 1 July, 2015. In order for us to hit
the ground running on 1 July 2015 we need are now recruiting. We are looking
for passionate people with excellent skills to join our Employment Services

The Role
The Employment
Broker will be site-based and will work with both job seekers and employers to
secure sustainable employment places. The main focus of the role is to market
Workskil Australia’s job seekers to local employers to fill their recruitment
needs and to motivate and drive job seekers in their search for employment. This
role will include a high volume of phone work and include advocating job
seekers to prospective employers and working closely with Employment
Consultants to match job seekers to the right opportunities. Employment Brokers
will account manage local employers as well as oversee a case load of Stream A
job seekers.
What
we’re looking for
A person of
the highest integrity who has:
- A
proven ability in a sales or business development role including working
to KPIs - An
ability to develop strong relationships and networks with local employers
and to advocate for and promote job seekers - Strong
communication skills both written and verbal - A
good knowledge of the local labour market and the needs and expectations
of employers - Superior
negotiation skills and ability to listen to feedback - An
ability to work closely as part of a team with Employment Consultants and
Post Placement Support team members - Ability
to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, Indigenous
clients, ex-offenders, youth and disadvantaged groups
