Workforce
Development Authority (WDA) in collaboration with BTC would like to recruit a
driver for The Belgian Common TVET Support Programme (PAFP).
The Driver will work
under the supervision of the Director of Intervention and the
Delegate for
Co-Management of the Programme.
Place: Huye District-Southern
Province
Key duties
and Responsibilities:
- Deliver
personnel and goods to the required destination safely; - Driving
vehicles for official duty and assignments; - Drive and
master his/her vehicle in a safe and controlled manner in order to avoid
accidents, respect traffic rules and other road regulations; - Follow
up where the vehicle is being serviced, ensure daily and weekly checkups
are done, and ensure the first aid kit has all the necessary materials,
and that all the necessary precautions are observed during driving and
parking; - Timely
preparation of the vehicle-before departure checking its condition, tools
and documents required; - Ensure
that the vehicle under his/ her care is insured on time, Serviced at the
required mileage; - Carrying
out basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle; - Reporting
major technical mechanical faults to the supervising officer; - Maintaining
basic records regarding the vehicles as instructed; - Ensuring
the safety of the vehicle while on duty; - Any
other lawful duties that may be assigned to him or her by supervisor.
Person
specifications:
- At
least A3 level of Education - Have a
valid driving license class B, D - Have 5
years of proven driving experience - Being
fluent in Kinyarwanda, knowledge of English and French would be an added
advantage - Must be
physically fit and cable of working for long hours - Must
have knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics - Mechanic
Certificate and basic mechanic skills - Good knowledge
of Rwandan territory/ roads

at the following address: KN 14 Av.38, KIMIHURURA.
