Warehouse Manager
There is an immediate opening for a Warehouse Manager in our Mississauga, ON facility. The successful candidate will provide dynamic leadership, guidance and direction to the shipping and receiving department and ensure the logistical accuracy of our products. In addition, this position is charged with continuous improvement initiatives resulting in a higher level of operating efficiency and overall customer service levels.
Knowledge and Skills required for this position include the following:
• Ability to effectively supervise, develop and direct your team (8 personnel).
• 5 – 10 years related experience.
• Ability to process shipping transactions / inventory control (ERP System).
• Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations.
• Solid relationship building skills with customers and carriers.
• Import / Export regulations & Customs knowledge.
• Good team training and motivation skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Superior communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent computer skills.
