The
National Volunteers will support VSO’s Enhancing Quality of Early-Childhood
Education in Rwanda project which is funded by UNICEF. Each National
Volunteer will work closely with an International volunteer using good
English-Kinyarwanda translation skills and knowledge and experience of
education and communities in Rwanda to facilitate engagement of key project
stakeholders, such as teachers, Head Teachers, parents and other community
members. Each position involves supporting 5 schools in developing model
pre-primary practice in terms of teaching, leadership and management,
engagement with parents and provision pre-primary education for children with
special needs. These schools will be visited frequently by
Early-Childhood Education student teachers, based at a Teacher Training
college, for lesson observation and teaching practice.

December 2016 with good performance. Only candidates who are prepared to
