The DPO has responsibility for client selection, due diligence, credit underwriting, documentation negotiation, and ongoing risk monitoring. In addition, DPO associate will also need to develop a strong understanding of related risks (reputation, market, legal, regulatory, operational) inherent in our client relationships. All of this is done to balance our risk/reward opportunities and to help ensure optimal use of the bank’s capital and overall stability of our earnings.
1) Analyze, recommend and manage Credit Risks on Clients working closely with business partners to support new business and grow the portfolio.
2) Financial analysis, structuring underwriting and portfolio management of various
3) Maintain regular dialogue with clients for appropriate/ timely credit underwriting decision and monitoring of credit quality of clients
4) Be an active member and / or driver of deal teams and contribute to the success of these teams
5) On-going, timely, portfolio monitoring in accordance with credit policies and procedures based on level of risk
6) Support ad hoc special projects, management reporting and assignments
Requirements
1) Strong Credit underwriting skills
2) Strong inter-personal and communication (oral & written) Skills
3) Willingness and ability to express opinions and propose basic credit decisions
4) Have pro-active approach, demonstrate problem solving skills, and be results oriented
5) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related Discipline
6) Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Corporate Bank / Credit Analysis function, preferably in Multinational Bank / financial institution.
7) Must have relevant experience in analysing Malaysian Corporate
