Job Summary: The Sales
Representative will be responsible for the promotion of Verdants Diagnostic
Center- Kampala to a variety of markets, including hospitals, medical centers
and doctors’ clinics. You will contact potential customers, identify their
needs, persuade t

hem to use Verdants services; close the sales by agreeing the
terms and conditions and provide after-sales service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists
    and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or
    regular cold calling or go door to door;
  • Build, foster and maintain positive working
    relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities
    to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
  • Supervise the customer base effectively using
    strong marketing skills to enable precise diagnosis of customers needs and
    forecasting of trends;
  • Intuitively analyze and carry out market research
    to come up with innovative methods to generate greater sales and to form
    incentive structures for customers
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records
  • Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a
    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business
    Administration, Marketing, or related major Accreditation/degree in any
    majors medical field
  • Five or more years’ experience in the medical
    sales and marketing or related professional area
  • Must be a rapid learner of complex technical
    solutions and is a team player
  • Active listening and problem solving
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Thinks strategically and analytically, multitasks
    and prioritizes.
  • Sales professional with a proven track record in
    medical sales will be preferred
  • Passionate to grow, develop and excel in the
    field, using excellent sales and assertiveness skills will be an added
    advantage
  • Able to work flexible hours including travelling
    around 75% of the time
  • Persons who are currently residing in Uganda
Excellent communication skills: Excellent interpersonal, networking, presentation, persuasion,
influencing, negotiation and closing skills; works effectively in a highly
competitive environment.
Self-starters: Responsible
and self-motivated with positive attitude and tolerance; goal oriented, high
achiever; demonstrates initiative
Strong work ethics: High level of integrity and moral standards
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and ability
to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
