DUTIES

the general supervision of the Senior LES Systems Manager and in close
cooperation with the formation Management Officer (IMO), the incumbent plans,
organizes and directs user training in II aspects of Information Technology for
Embassy Kigali. The incumbent will also act as liaison and technical
point-of-contact for external commercial IT training.

fields of computer science, information systems/resource management or
equivalent is required.

At least 3 years of progressively more responsible work of program,
technical or administrative nature where emphasis is placed on analysis,
management and utilization of computer systems is required. Al least two of the
years must have experience in information technology instruction or direct
operational experience in computer systems administration and/or PC support is
required.

CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+). Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
or ability to obtain these certifications in 12 months is required.

Incumbent must have expert knowledge of modem computer equipment, training
aids, technologies and operations. Knowledge of the design and delivery of
training programs. knowledge of local environment and educational theory is
required. Must have on excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite of
applications.

Incumbent must have the ability to maximize the capabilities of the Mission’s
IT resources and to understand the priorities of key managers/staff f and to be
responsive lo those needs is required. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills are required lo resolve priority issues. system
limitations and competing requirements to clearly communicate content matter
with key officials/staff. Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting operational
problems, resolution of complex software issues sufficient to ensure continued
systems operations is required. Ability to explain clearly all issues of end
user operations to Post Management and mission users is required. Ability to
study, master and implement frequently changing systems details and software
applications. ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and
ability to instruct other staff – both technical and non-technical regardless
of rank – in proper systems use and operations procedures is required.
