HIV Molecular Tests Technologist, Lilongwe – URC

Minimum of a BSc in Medical Laboratory/Biomedical
Science or its equivalent obtained from a recognised institution, Experience in
working in a molecular laboratory with training in Abbott m2000 technology,
Minimum 5 yrs experience working in a busy general hospital laboratory
preferably in a leadership position, Experience with international donor
programs and reporting requirements preferred, A minimum of 5 yrs experience in
laboratory field, Experience in report writing and analysing data,
Knowledgeable of GCLP Good Clinical and Laboratory Practices
Must be able to work independently, innovative and able to work under tight
time constraints, Good communication skills, computer literacy, strong English
verbal and written skills are required Computer software applications- word
processing, Excel, Power Point, Excellent organisational and managerial skills,
Multi-tasking ability, effective problem solving abilities, communication
skills, and the ability to maintain and nurture positive working relationships
with organisations involved with laboratory practices, Ability to prepare
presentations and present at professional meetings
