Finance and Administration
URC is currently seeking candidates for a USAID health systems strengthening
and quality improvement program in Rwanda. This five-year project will provide
to support the Government of Rwanda by implementing an integrated health system
strengthening program that provides sustainable, high quality,
high-impact and client-oriented health services.
Director
of Finance and Administration will provide overall direction for all project
operations covering financial and administrative issues at all levels of the
project.
Responsibilities:
- Work with COP to ensure
efficient functioning of administrative and financial processes and
maintain internal control. - Direct activities of project
support staff and ensure sufficient assistance is given to the staff in
each of the project offices. - Collaborate with USAID to
ensure regular communication, adequate understandings and timely response
to Mission requests, schedules, and formatting. - Liaise with other key technical
personnel and local staff to ensure smooth administrative and financial
processes are upheld.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public
Administration, Finance, or related field. - Minimum 10 years of experience
in program administration with at least five years in a senior management
position. - Demonstrated expertise with
USAID financial regulations and management systems. - Past experience with
public health program desirable but not required. - Knowledge in subcontracting and
sub recipient procedures as well as small grants management. - Proven success in team work
with program and technical staff on a multi-site project; and proficiency
in relevant computer applications and databases.
