Upstream
health is a new health practice about to open on Grote St Adelaide. Its’vision
is to build a cohesive team of health professionals to work with clients both
reactively and proactively to attain and maintain wellness. It will offer
individual, group and information sessions and encourage a mix of experience

practitioners with new graduates.

The
aim is for upstream to combine qualities of care, calmness and compassion
with a sense of energy, vitality and fun.

Job
tasks and responsibilities

consult
with child and / or adult clients referred through GPs NDIS, health
and education professionals.
build
up a strong referral base and case load.
liase
with colleagues around resources, client work and research and
development.
run
groups and information sessions within and outside the practice.
contribute
to the ongoing development of the practice.
develop
areas of specific interest.

Skills
and experience

tertiary
qualifications in Occupational therapy.
appropriate
registration and clearances.
experience
in a private practice or a willingness to gain experience with appropriate
supervision.
must
be able to bill for private consultations eg through Medicare, NDIS,
private health etc.
