The
role
You will engage in
undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research higher degree supervision and
service in materials and manufacturing engineering. You will also perform high
quality research within the School and the AMPAM Centre.
The
person
You should possess a
PhD in a field related to mechanical and/or materials engineering. You will
also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive
research career, the ability to teach across a broad range of courses in
mechanical and materials engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate
levels, as well as contributing to academic administration and service
activities.
Remuneration
This is a full-time,
continuing teaching and research academic appointment. Depending on the level
of appointment, the remuneration package will be in the range of:
- For
Lecturer (Academic Level B) $86,853 – $103,138 p.a., plus employer
superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the
range $101,618 – $120,671 p.a.).
- For
Senior Lecturer (Academic Level C) $106,395 – $122,679 p.a., plus employer
superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the
range $124,482 – $143,535 p.a.).
