THE OPPORTUNITY:
You will provide a range of counseling programs and services designed to assist UBC students to achieve their educational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Intake assessment and referral
• Individual and group counseling
• Deliver psychoeducational programming to promote mental health
• Provide consultation to staff/faculty regarding student well-being
• May provide clinical supervision and training for pre-doctoral interns
• Participate in regular staff meetings, case conferences and professional development seminars
REQUIREMENTS:
• Doctorate in Counseling Psychology or related field
• Pre-doctoral internship (CPA-accredited doctoral program and internship or equivalent preferred)
• Eligible for licensure as a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia
• Experience in university/college counseling and supervision of graduate students required
• Demonstrated ability and commitment to serving the needs of a broadly diverse student population
