Children’s Services
is the third largest provider of children’s services in NSW. We provide quality
education and care se
rvices to over 6,000 children each year. Our goal of
‘nurturing confident and creative learners’ is the primary focus of all that we
do across our Long Day Care, Preschool, Occasional Care, Outside School Hours
Care and Integrated Child and Family Centres.
We are seeking casual Educators to join our team at UnitingCare Ella Children’s Centre.
Located in Haberfield, this is a 40 place Long Day Care service catering for children
between the ages of 0 – 5 years.
As an active team member, you will be required to support the service in the
provision of high quality care and education for children. Responsibilities
include working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard and
the approved learning framework, contributing to educational programs,
facilitating play based learning and maintaining appropriate workplace health
and safety.
Successful applicants will
require:
- Certificate III in Children’s
Services or working towards. - Current First Aid, approved Asthma,
Anaphylaxis Certificates and Child Protection Training. - Demonstrated knowledge and / or
experience in implementing a quality program in an education and care
setting. - Understanding of diversity and inclusive
practice. - Ability to work effectively as a team
member. - Effective written and verbal
communication skills.
