United Way of
Calgary and Area is looking for a full-time
Digital Design and Production Specialist to join the
Marketing.Media.Communications team (MMC) within United Way of Calgary and
Area. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Digital Design and Production
Specialist will conceptualize, design and produce effective print and digital
materials to achieve the goals of United Way.

Duties &
Responsibilities
- Maintain
United Way brand standards and visual consistency - Design
and production of all major collateral that isn’t created by our AOR - Research,
develop and implement ideas for new media - Contribute
to the Marketing.Media.Communications department’s current and future
strategy - Mentor
graphics design intern
Experience
and Skills
- A
college diploma or university degree and a minimum of three years of
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Office and proficiency in the entire Adobe Suite. - Skilled
with technical production tools such as video and photography cameras,
lighting, microphones, etc. - Adept
use of imagery and typography to capture and create deliberate
communication to specific audiences. - Demonstrated understanding
of the different marketing mediums and how to integrate them for maximum
impact. - Advanced
knowledge of print and digital production processes. - Superior
time and project management skills and ability to accomplish many projects
while prioritizing under strict deadlines. - Superior
proofing and organizational skills. - Skilled
in Video Pre and Post-production. - Ability
to craft a message to communicate more than just its basic premise. - Interpersonal
leadership in working with cross functional teams
