2. Marketing,
   Research and Development Manager

Manager will be responsible for providing
primary marketing research services to management and business units for
strategic decision making.

• Prepare
  the annual Marketing Plan.
• Brainstorm
  and develop ideas with creative agencies.
• Conduct
  market research to understand current market conditions and competitor
  information
• Assess
  the requirements for new products based on the market needs
• Provide
  strategic direction for research related innovation to optimize UB‘s
  competitive advantage
• Follow
  up with PR, Events and Advertising agencies to ensure results are
  delivered on time.
• Coordinate
  management of the companies social media account (Facebook, LinkedIn,
  Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc)
• Ensure
  the website is up to date at all times and follow up with departments on
  the activities and materials.
• Supervise
  the collecting, data entry, analysis and creation of actionable insight
  driven reports
• Prepare
  and manage the Marketing, product development Research budgets
• Monitoring
  and evaluation of marketing performance with regards to leads generation
  and conversion
• Ensure
  timely and efficient implementation of Research strategy and Annual Work
  Plan (AWP) and ensure that units performance targets are set and achieved
• Ensure
  that Research is effectively used to support the business objectives of UB
  to increase productivity and increase results in order to ensure internal
  and external customer satisfaction and ensure seamless interdepartmental
  linkages
• Conduct
  research with a view of disseminating the information to the public and
  clients so as to establish UB as a leader in the banking sector in Rwanda
• Support
  the sales team by compiling and preparing presentation materials.
• Collect
  potential customer data during marketing events to support sales team in
  prospecting
• Collect
  data from competitors on products and prices
• Conduct
  market research to find out about consumer requirements, habits and trends
• Manage
  the company image and corporate outlook including branding and staff
  uniforms
• Develop
  and execute marketing and communications campaigns which help develop
  clients, build the company’s brand, and drive growth objectives.
• Identify
  and map industry trends; market environment; competitor analysis and
  provide insights on unique selling points for continuous development.
• Manage
  a library of marketing content, including portfolios, images, videos and
  inter-active demos.
• Ensure
  organization and dissemination of content and regular updates in concert
  with major events and opportunities.
• Champion
  the company brand internally and externally through communications
  initiatives.
  Any other duties that may be prescribed from time to time by the Head of
  Department

1. Applicants
   should holder of a Bachelors degree in a Business related studies,
   preferably in marketing, economics, statistics, Research etc.
2. They
   should have 5 years relevant experience preferably in research should be
   in a managerial position
3. Excellent
   computer and communication skills
4. They
   should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to
   operate in performance driven environment and be a team player with the
   ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
5. Have
   an eye for detail and an analytical mindset.
