Sydney Trains has over the last few years redefined its Network Maintenance
operations; creating new world class Network Bases,

introducing new technology
and processes. The next phase is to expand the capacity and capability of the
operation by creating additional teams in key areas and moving towards creating
a predictive maintenance environment.

The Role

The Team Leader Signals is responsible for planning and managing the work
allocation to the work groups; ensuring teams have required competencies to
safely carry out quality work, providing frontline technical knowledge and
supporting the Team Manager in ensuring the quality of maintenance on Signals
infrastructure in a defined geographical boundary to agreed standards.

To be eligible you must be a fully qualified Signals Electrician, accredited
and qualified for appointment to Licenced Signal Electrician with sound
knowledge and ability to demonstrate extensive experience of Electrical Signals
systems and assets. In addition you must be able to demonstrate frontline
supervisory skills, good diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills,
quality and safety systems assurance abilities coupled with strong
communication and collaboration skills.
