Job Title: Senior Officer- Monitoring & Supervision
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure loan documentation is complete and that all conditions precedent are met
prior to disbursement of funds.
Ensure loan funds are used by project promoters for purposes approved by the
bank.
Confirm the technical specifications of the proposed plant and machinery to
meet the objectives of the project.
Ensure the implementation time schedules are adhered to.
Visit project sites and preparing call reports.
Prepare periodic reports on the performance of projects and defaulters.
Follow up on the repayments of all loans.
Ensure the securities pledged to the bank do not deteriorate.
Provide continuous feedback on performance of borrowers and to identify actual
or potential problems early so that timely adjustments to project operations
can be made. .
Ensure operating and financial performance of each project is adequately
assessed, early warning signals identified and corrective
Carry out any other related duties assigned by Supervisor from time to time
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accountancy,
Banking, Land Management and Valuation, Building Economics, Real Estate
Studies, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Economics, Crop
Science, Agriculture Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized
University/ institution.
At least four (4) years working experience in a commercial bank or financial
institutions.
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to write
documentation in a concise and focused style.
Excellent developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize
work load with minimum supervision.
