Professional Development Program. This program is designed to turn recent
university graduates into highly-skilled, precision
-trained professionals, on
the fast track to success. The program will see you take on the role of
Graduate IT Consultant, where you will be trained to monitor applications from
the end user to the data center. You will support operations staff by providing
critical application performance, availability and capacity data. You will also
help review performance trends and service desk tickets to aid in proactive
monitoring efforts. As a trained Graduate IT Consultant, you will help clients
obtain the maximum value from existing investments, while allowing IT staff to
focus on core capabilities and activities.
client is looking for someone with the following capabilities and experience:
- Recently
graduated, with coursework around software development, computer networks,
and web development preferred. - Less
than 2 years of related professional work experience. - Strong
passion and desire to learn new technology. - Internship,
co-op and/or significant IT project-based assignments while at university.
- The
permanent right to work in Australia without needing a visa/sponsorship. - Security
clearance will be looked upon highly as you will be dealing with sensitive
and confidential data. - Openness
to interstate relocation.
in one or more of these key technologies is desirable:
- Java,
J2EE, .NET, ASP.NET, Web development. - Networking,
TCP/IP. - Virtualisation,
Citrix, VMware. - Server-side
and/or client-side scripting.
