include addiction, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, epilepsy, Huntington’s
disease, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease,
schizophrenia, stroke and traumatic and spinal cord injury.

for a highly motivated individual to join an outstanding team of researchers
and work within the Clinical Trial Research Unit at our Oak Street, Parkville,
and affiliated Austin Health facilities. The role will primarily be to
provide support to the coordinator of a secondary prevention study of
Alzheimer’s disease. Duties will include study pre-screening, psychometric
testing and associated administration duties. The aim of the study is to
delay/prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s related memory impairment in brain
amyloid positive subjects.

The successful candidate will have a
degree in Nursing or a related field, 2 years’ experience in clinical cognitive
assessment and a current Victorian Driver Licence. She/he will be a dynamic
person with excellent interpersonal and communications skills who is able to
self-manage and work as part of a team. Clinical research experience is an
advantage.

An indicative salary of a Research
Nurse (RN G2 Y5 to G3 A/B) in the range of $62,135K to $76,076K
(pro-rata) commensurate with experience (plus superannuation and generous
