- Listening
to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale. - Maintaining
and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via
telephone calls and emails. - Cold
calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new
business. - Responding
to incoming email and phone enquiries. - Acting
as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets. - Negotiating
the terms of an agreement and closing sales. - Gathering
market and customer information. - Representing
the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. - Challenging
any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy. - Advising
on forthcoming projects and discussing special promotions. - Reviewing
your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. - Gaining
a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements. - Making
accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations. - Attending
team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues. - Develop
network and maintain relationships with clients. - Overcome
client resistance/objections to products and educate them about the

Qualifications:
- Have
a bachelor’s degree - Minimum
of 5 years of related experience and/or training. - Prior
sales experience and previous supervisory experience in a construction
organization preferred. - Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. - Strong
organizational and analytical skills. - Ability
to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. - Ability
to effectively present information. - Ability
to respond effectively to sensitive issues. - Requires
advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. - Ability
to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and
commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis. - Ability
to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. - Ability
to solve problems involving several options in situations. - Requires
advanced analytical and quantitative skills. - Solid
experience using sales database systems, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint,
Excel, Word), Outlook, social media, internet. - Decisions
made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and
business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. - Responsible
for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. - Errors
in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
