I. BACKGROUND
Sportsview hotel Kigali is a three star hotel, has
its Headquarters located in Remera facing the main gate entering Amahoro
National Stadium and it is located at the main road side it and also has one
branch in Kicukiro District. Facilities cover the total area of 2 ha and 2.5
ha.

include 3 deluxe rooms, 10 Standard rooms and 27 Twin rooms. A total of 3
conference halls that serve as conference meetings to wedding receptions, 1
health club with Sauna and Steam Bath ; 1 swimming pool. Bar and
Restaurant that have over 100 seated capacity. Other facilities include
Business Center and Car Hire Services. The branch at Kicukiro has two
conference halls, two gardens and other facilities are similar to the
Sportsview hotel Headquarters besides the accommodation as no rooms are yet
available.

Key tasks :
- customer services respect and honesty
- Timeout preparation of restaurant, bar and
conference areas for guest arrivals. - Maintain cleanliness of catering areas.
- Conduct daily stock takes of bar and mini bars
and assist in the restocking - Ensure that all service equipment is kept
clean and tidy - Damage prevention.
- Be aware of number of in house guests at all
times and daily functions. - Prepare mis en place, setting, breakfast, and
buffet areas according to procedures. - Meet and greet guests in a professional, warm
and friendly manner - Ensure that pool and other outside areas are
clean and tidy - Answer any phone calls in the prescribed

- Ensure that one maintains a professional, neat
and tidy appearance at all times - Ensure that guest service is professional and
according to the training provided - Waiter/waitress should seat guests and
introduce sports view hotel provided and facilities - Waiter/waitress at restaurant and pool bar
should provide nuts as a free amenity to the client as soon as the guest
seats down.

Required skills :
- Knowledge on restaurant and bar menus
- Very strong communication skills in French,
English, Kinyarwanda and Swahili - Ability to work under pressure with short
deadlines - Ability to lead, manage and motivate the

- Required Education & Experience :
- Diploma, certificate or senior six in hotel
management (operation) or a related field such as customers care or
tourism. - Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel, motel
or restaurant as waiter /waitress - Knowledge of customer care.
