Job Description
USAID Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) project
works to increase the role of the private sector in the sustainable provision
and use of family planning/reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child
health and related information, products, and services. SHOPS builds upon
decades of USAID support and leadership in private health sector programming
with an emphasis on exploring and advancing private sector innovations.
Essential Job
Responsibility:
• Assist the Finance
and Administration Manager to ensure effective running of the project
operations
Specific Responsibilities
• Making inputs into
quicken accounting software and uploading attachments unto ISMS site
• Manages (including request, disbursement, documentation and
reconciling) petty cash for the office
• Assists with procurement functions, specifically but not limited
to delivering quotation requests and bid solicitations and collecting
quotations and bids
• Assists with inventory management, including conducting physical
inventory checks, tagging government property and other functions relating to
inventory control
• Assists with preparing events such as workshops/training,
specifically but not limited to preparing, photocopying and collating documents
• Other office assistance duties as assigned by the management
Qualification Required
& Experience
• First Degree
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position
• Good coordination and organizational skills
• Integrity and discretion
• Good oral and written English
