The
Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley is nearing completion of its second Asset
Management Plan. The next phases include the supporting Forward Capital Works
Plan and both operating and maintenance plans to contribute to the Long Term
Financial Plan ensuring that the plans provide for sustainable infrastructure.
As such the Shire is seeking a “hands on” person who will be responsible for
managing the Shire’s capital works program, waste disposal and land fill
operations as well as assist in the supervision of contractors and Council
employees, plant, equipment and materials involved in municipal works and
services.
The
ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering and have
extensive experience in all facets of Local Government infrastructure
management including project management and urban and rural road and drainage
construction. Demonstrated knowledge of Road Design software, and rigorous
budget management will be highly regarded.
