We are looking for an experienced
and dynamic Works Manager who is a strategic thinker with fresh ideas to join
our dedicated team in Echuca. You will lead road infrastructure maintenance and
construction w
orks and provide innovative solutions and strategies to deliver
quality services for our community.
You will be someone who
“leads from the front” with a passion for identifying and
implementing opportunities for improvement. Your extensive practical knowledge
of civil engineering maintenance and construction activities will support your
ability to analyse, evaluate and report on key metrics to drive performance
improvement. This truly is an opportunity to make a difference in a key Council
role.
Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar
- Experience in strategic planning to drive
performance improvements - Excellent knowledge of roads, drainage and
related legislation - Strong leadership skills to encourage a high
performing team - The ability to communicate effectively with staff at
all levels - Valid Driver’s Licence
