Senior / Internal Auditor (Regional role)
Our client is a global MNC in the chemical business. The group consists of over 100 subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide. Their products and solutions which are used the world over, support a myriad of industries and businesses.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for leading and conducting internal audits across Asia Pacific
• Evaluate Company Level Controls, Financial Closing & Reporting Controls, Business Process Controls according to assigned work objectives and time schedule
• Liaise with cross-functional teams on audit initiatives
• Interface with third party consultants during the audit process
Prerequisites
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• Familiar with relevant accounting standards and or tax legislation
• Knowledge of US-SOX, SAP and/or ERP platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experienced in financial and/or operational risk assessment and process/control evaluation
• Self-motivated and matured
• Must be effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Travel is required on the job
