Development from a credible Academic institution, 2 yrs minimum experience in
the NGO in the field of facilitating rural communities’ micro-financing
activities, Knowledge of VSL, Strong computer literacy, Self motivated and
proactive to drive work tasks, Clean motorcycle driving licence, Passion to
work in rural areas and assist the poor
management training to groups with the sup
port from the Field Officer,
Facilitate linkages of mature VSL groups with appropriate formal financial
institutions with relevant financial products, Train VSL members in financial
literacy, Work with VSL members in identifying their financial goals and
assisting them with achieving the goals, Collect loan repayments from VSL
groups and follow up on defaulters, Complete loan contracts by explaining
provisions to VSL members, Recommend loan applications to management for
approval, Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit
worthiness, Select and recommend VSL groups to receive loans, Disseminate
information to VSL groups regarding the Loan Revolving Fund
