Jewellery Sales Associate – Luxury Market
Our client, a luxury jewellers wish to recruit an experienced Sales Consultant to develop business with very high net worth individuals.
Profile
The Ideal profile for this role is an experienced jewellery or luxury goods retail sales person.
Description
• Achieve monthly retail sales goals
• Develops and maintains communication with clients: Collects personal data from all clients / potential clients entering the store, follows up with personal notes, photographs, catalogs.
• Attends social functions within the community to generate new clientele; Invites current and prospective clients to in-store events.
• Educates clients on the brand’s quality standards and products.
• Sets up window displays and in store displays each morning. Assures displays are broken down each evening and merchandise is appropriately stored in the safe.
• Meets and greets clients; welcomes new clients into store.
• Follows up on after sales service / follows up on repairs from start to finish; updates clients on any delays in repair or special order service.
• Adheres to policies and procedures established by the company ( i.e. dress code, consignment, after sales service, return policy, valuation request, guidelines for discounting, Human Resources policies, etc….)
• Maintains the aesthetic quality of the store ( i.e. cleanliness, quality of display, rotating products on display ).
Requirements
• Strong experience in jewellery or high-end product sales is preferred.
• Strong drive for Results expected- Commitment to improving talent, techniques and selling skills.
• Knowledge of the jewellery business and the competition.
• Strong understanding of customer service needs.
• Initiative in soliciting clients, and developing new ideas and new approaches to increasing business.
The ideal candidates:
Ideal candidates will come from retail backgrounds, with a minimum of 1-2 years retail sales assistant experience. Please note there is an immediate start for the suitable candidate.
