- Maintenance
of financial records and monitoring systems; records and reconciles
expenditures, balances, payments and other day-to-day transactions - Support
in the Preparation of financial reports for SCOPE - Ensure
cash controls and other internal controls are in place - Review
and reconciliation of all control accounts for SCOPE - Ensure
staff and partners comply with SCI Financial policies and procedures - Ensure
all business floats are timely settled and posted into GLACOS/AGRESSO - Check
and verify any returns and reports from partners for accuracy and
completeness. - Timely
Register of all approved transactions into GLACOS/AGRESSO - Support
in Training of staff and partners on relevant financial reporting
procedures, - Facilitate
internal and external audits by providing all required information to the
auditors - Follow
up on the implementation of grants and assist as required - Maintains
the finance filling system for SCOPE. - Supports
the preparation of relevant financial reports for SCOPE project. Liaises
with partner organizations to ensure strict compliance with
partnership agreements

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor
degree in accounting/finance/management or Equivalent. - 2-3
years’ work experience, preferably in an NGO set up - Experience
working with USAID project an added advantage
