Adolescent
Development Specialist – Save the Children – Zomba
Is available for an initial period of 2 yrs, renewable subject to performance
and availability of funding
Reporting to the Senior Manager- Edu
cation and Child Development, the
Adolescent Development Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the use of
innovative, evidence based approaches and best practices in the delivery of the
program services, She/he will be Coordinating Education, Reproductive and
Sexual Health and Livelihood opportunities for adolescents including
collaborating with stakeholders (government partners, Communities,
youth/adolescents and other sectors within SCI) in implementing program
activities, She/he will be required to collaborate with all key partners
in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the program, She/he will
also ensure adherence to all national and international standards in the design
and implementation of the programme
Applicants should have a Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Social
Sciences, Health Policy, Masters degree level will be an added advantage,
She/he should have at least 5 yrs of demonstrated technical expertise in
working with adolescence in areas of HIV/AIDS and Sexual and Reproductive
health.
