The Role:
This newly created Sales Representative’s position will be focused primarily on bulk domestic freight, with a heavy emphasis on developing potential new business opportunities.
In this role you will:
• Prospect and hunt for new business opportunities within your given geographical sales territory!
• Providing existing and new clients with exceptional levels of service
• Conduct new businesses activities through cold calling and networking to bring them on as secure accounts;
• Attend appointments on time and conduct yourself in a friendly and efficient manner to all of your clients, upholding the companies highly regarded reputation
• Think outside the box.
The Candidate:
You will possess strong business development and prospecting skills, with a proven and demonstrated sales history. You will enjoy the thrill of hunting down and closing new business, combined with your high levels of energy, determination and motivation make you a solid match to this role.
You will possess outstanding communication and negotiation skills with the ability to sell on features and benefits rather than price alone, influencing potential clients to switch carriers based on the better quality service that you can provide, not a cheaper rate. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to operate extremely autonomously with minimal supervision.
