The Rwanda Natural Resources Authority (RNRA) is a government institution
located in Giasabo District (at Remora Kisementi to CNLG) having been
established by the Rwandan Government law NO 53/2010 of 25/01/2011.
RNRA is an authority that heads the management of promotion of natural
resources which is composed of land, water. forests. mines and geology. It is
entrusted with supervision, monitoring and to ensure the implementation of all
issues relating to promotion and protection of natural resources.
In order to implement its mission, the Rwanda Natural Resources Authority is
seeking to
recruit competent candidates to till the following vacant positions that are in
the structure gazetted in the official gazette NO 50bis of 13/12/2010.
POSTS : SETTING STANDARDS &
MONITORING OFFICER IN CHARGE OF LARGE SCALE MINING (1)
JOB DESCRIPTION
– develop mining standards, principles and guidelines for small scale mines ;
– supervise the design and implementation of small scale mining plans ;
– inspect and advise the mine owners in their daily work ;
– train mining technicians ;
– give advice on the appropriate mining techniques ;
– give advice on the application for the mining licenses ;
– keep records and plans for continuing and the completed small scale mining
works ;
– keep and update the records for small scale miners ;
– submit regular progress reports ;
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
A0 in Geology, Mining engineering ; Masters in any of the courses is an added
advantage with 3 years experiences

Resources Authority not later than 20 September 2013 at 3:00pm.

files will not be considered. Candidates fulfilling required conditions will be
