Rwanda Development Board (RDB) Trainee Export Advisors Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

TITLE:
RECRUITMENT OF TRAINEE EXPORT ADVISORS

In the context of
GoR plan to develop company competitiveness and increase exports, RDB with support from
Trademark East Africa (TMEA)
has designed an Export Development
Program (EDP) as part of the National Export Strategy.

One of the components
of EDP is the Export Advisor Initiative (EAI) that aims to develop capacity
among local business consultants and institutions and to provide hands on
support to existing and potential exporters in developing and implementing
export marketing plans. The selected Export Advisors will be taken through a
specific training program aimed at improving their relevant skills and to
enable them provide export-focused consultancy to existing or potential
exporters.

Rwanda Development
Board (RDB) therefore invites applications from competent individuals for
selection as
TRAINEE EXPORT ADVISORS (EA) under the EXPORT ADVISOR INITIATIVE

sponsored by Trademark East Africa (TMEA) in collaboration with RDB.

Participation is
open on equal conditions to all individuals who meet the following selection
criteria:

At least 5 years
prior experience as a consultant in business; including preparation and
implementation of business plans. The candidate will thus be expected to possess
a broad range of business skills: selling; procurement; marketing; business
analysis, accounting. Having worked with trade related organizations will be an
advantage.

At least possess a
university degree in any of the following disciplines: business administration,
accounting, marketing, business laws, finance, economics, human resource
management, project management.

Proven experience in
supporting the SMEs.

In total,
fifteen (15) candidates will be selected for training.
