Job Announcement
Rwanda Co-operative Agency (RCA) is a Public institution in charge of
Promotion, Registration and Regulation of Cooperatives in the Country. RCA
wishes to recruit competent and qualifying candidates to fill the 4 various
vacant positions in its structure. For the job positions, reporting relations
and the location, please see below:
Position: Cooperative capacity
building Officer (1)
– Duties and responsibilities
• Develop standardised Co-operative accounting and management systems.
• Develop training materials for members, Committees and employees of
Co-operatives.
• Plan and implement effective and efficient field training programmes for
members, Committees and employees of Co-operatives.
• Plan and implement effective and efficient institutionalized (residential)
training programmes for Committees and employees of Government and
Co-operatives charged with the responsibility of facilitating proper management
of Co-operatives.
• Train trainers in different areas to ensure availability of a large pool of
locally available personnel to train Co-operative members, committees and
employees of Co-operatives.
• Identify and utilize institutions of higher learning to develop and implement
a curriculum to train committees, managers and other employees of Cooperatives.
• Organize local, regional and international study
tours and training programmes for cooperatives;
• Popularize Co-operatives, Co-operative policy and law through all types of
media;
• Perform any other task assigned by the Management.
Required skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Management, Economics, Sociology, Education, Rural
Development and other related fields.
• Team player how can work effectively and constructively with different people
and Institutions and deliver results ;
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills ;
• Good IT and computer literacy skills ;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda;
• Fluency in English and/or French and a working knowledge of the other
language.
