offshore shipping company is looking for an Account Assistant



Responsibilities:

  • Administrative
    support for AR and AP team
  • Invoicing
  • Handle
    Data Entries & Filings
  • Handle
    quality checks before sending out invoices
  • Ensure
    deadline is met
  • Ad hoc
    duties as and when assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • ‘N’ Level
    preferably with 1-2 years’ experience
  • Must be
    independent, reliable and able to work under pressure
  • Good
    interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in English
    for both oral and written
  • Computer literate with
    proficient in Microsoft programs

 Our client, a
shipping company is for an Account Executive:

Responsibilities:

  • Handling
    full set of accounts which including inventory, fixed assets and basic
    consolidated accounts.
  • Perform
    monthly closing and annual closing of accounts.
  • Coordinate
    and assist in Quarterly Closing and Group Consolidation Accounts for the
    company subsidiary accounts.
  • Preparation
    of cash flow reports, cash flow management and GST submission Administer
    Variance Analysis and Budgetary Control.
  • Prepare
    accounting schedules for audit and liaise with external auditor, tax
    agents on all related audit and tax matters.
  • Work with
    other Department on project costing, manufacturing cost models and price
    plans.
  • Other
    ad-hoc projects or reports as delegated from time to time.

 Requirements:

  • CPA / ACCA / Bachelor of Accountancy / Diploma
  • Proficient and well versed in Excel
  • Proactive with strong initiative and positive working
    attitude and ability to multi-task
  • Team player and meticulous
  • Working
    experience of at least 1 year
  • Transport
    will be provided

    SGD 2500 to SGD 3000 depending on experience.

Our
Client, a shipping company is looking for a Fleet Accountant:

Responsibilities:
  • Provides
    operational support and is responsible for vessel operating and
    construction payables, working with purchasers and operations
    superintendents to ensure proper coding and approval.
  • Works in a
    team and liaises with various departments as necessary to ensure timely
    payment to vendors.
  • Processes
    all invoices related to vessel operations and enters into the company’s
    vessel management system as well as into the company’s accounting system.
  • Cross-reviews
    invoices prior to approval
  • Works
    with superintendents and operations to ensure proper approval and coding
    of invoices
  • Reviews
    and interprets monthly operating expense reports and assist
    Superintendents in budget/expense analysis and understanding financial
    results.
  • Matches
    invoices to purchase and service orders (liaising with purchasers to
    confirm receipt of goods with vessels)
  • Resolves
    vendors invoice issues and other payment matters
  • Audit
    of vessel Cash Receipts and Disbursement records
  • Reconciles
    key vessel accounts – financial and operational
  • Completes
    the accounting entries relating to Dry-dock and Pre-delivery
  • Reviews
    financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of
    the reports
  • Assists
    financial services department with additional projects and month, quarter
    and year-end reporting processes as required.
  • Reviews
    and analyzes vessel financial and operational performance.
Requirements:
  • One to
    two years of full set of accounts experience in an operational setting
  • Post-secondary
    diploma or degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Experience
    working with in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred
  • Knowledge
    of basic accounting principles
  • Ability
    to complete complex account reconciliations and resolution of reconciling
    items
  • Proficient
    in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • General
    aptitude for computer systems



  • Confident
    personality while providing service-oriented outlook
  • Good
    communication and interpersonal skills.
