-A higher degree (PhD) in a relevant subject area (Including Advanced
Immunology) or equivalent, significant experience that is highly relevant to
this project

-Ability to communicate experimental results effectively
-Evidence of research ability through publication in peer reviewed scientific
journals.

Description:

These posts offer
exciting opportunities to study the contribution of B cells to the pathogenesis
of autoimmune diseases Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Wegener’s
granulomatosis within a highly experienced B cell biology research team. These
projects will benefit from the links between the cellular and molecular
research laboratories of Professor Jo Spencer and Dr Deborah Dunn-Walters,
located on Guy’s campus in the Programme of Infection and Immunity, and the
Louise Coote Lupus unit at St Thomas’ Hospital led by Professor David D’Cruz.

 Duration
of Awards:

The post is
available for 3 years initially, but this may be extended to 5 years.

What
does it cover?

The appointment will
be made on the Grade 6 scale; £33,343 per annum, inclusive of £2,323 London
Allowance, per annum.
