Gardener/Horticultural
Team Member

If
you are able to work in all types of environment and weather conditions,
including heat, rain, snow, etc., and are familiar with planting and plant
maintenance, consider joining our team.

Your
duties as a Gardener/Horticultural Team Member will include:

Garden
bed activity (watering, weeding, cultivating, edging) to company standards

Pruning,
planting and maintenance completed to company standards

Showing
a positive and professional attitude

Following
all company/industry safety guidelines, policies and procedures

Following
and consistently demonstrating Reid’s Heritage Group of Companies Core Values

Performing
winter snow removal duties, as required

Qualifications:

The
Gardener/Horticultural Team Members will have the following:

Ability
to identify weeds, perennials, annuals, and shrubs

Ability
to identify problem insects, diseases and treatments

Knowledge
of planting and maintenance practices of plants/shrubs

Experience
an asset, but will train

Valid
class G driver’s licence, along with a clean driver’s abstract

These
positions involve infrequent out-of-town projects, and you must be able to stay
overnight.

Wage
range: $13.50 – $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Two
positions are available: a full-time permanent position and a full-time
contract position (April to December)
